Medical Devices Trainer – Wolverhampton

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the West Midlands providing primary, acute and community services. We have an opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our small team of enthusiastic Medical Device Trainers. This post may be of particular interest to Clinical Technologists or Registered General Nurses. The post holder will provide direct medical device training and co-ordinate training delivered by other providers across a wide range of medical devices and to a range of clinical disciplines. This will involve assisting with the development and delivery/evaluation of skill-based training programmes suitable for the needs of staff. The applicant will also carry out competency assessments of clinical staff ensuring the safe, effective and correct use of medical devices across the Trust.

Medical Devices Trainer – Isle of Wight NHS Trust

Agenda for Change Band 5

Fixed Term – 6 Months

We have an opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our Practice Education and Development Team. This post may be of particular interest to Clinical Technologists or Registered Nurses/AHP’s. The post holder will support the delivery of the Trust’s Medical Devices Training Programme, co-ordinate various competency based training activities and deliver selected medical device training. The post holder will support the development of innovative training strategies and the evaluation of their effectiveness. The post holder will use the Trust’s Learning Management System to ensure accurate records of training activities & competencies are maintained in order to provide a precise Trust wide Training Needs Analysis. To give advice, support & maintain effective communication with Clinical Business Units, Medical Devices Department, Quality Governance Team and Medical Device Companies. To perform Medical
Device audits when required, collate, analyse & report findings.

Medical Devices Trainer (Part Time) – Cardiff

Cardiff are looking for a keen enthusiastic person (part time 25 hours per week) from the nursing environment to assist the full time Medical Equipment Trainer in delivering a teaching/ training programme for infusion devices to the clinical staff within the UHB. Other areas of the job will involve auditing, record keeping, supporting nurses in their role as coordinators and assessors.

You must be a qualified nurse and an infusion pump coordinator with some training experience in the clinical environment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.

Medical Devices Trainer – Sheffield

Sheffield teaching Hospitals are looking for a Band 7, Medical Device Training Coordinator. the job is advertised on NHS Jobs. with a closing date of 28th July. Interview date is 22nd August 2017.

The successful applicant must be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and experience in regards to medical device training and medical device management in an acute hospital setting, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to think, plan and act both operationally and strategically.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Medical Equipment Library Supervisor and have an input to the running and development of the library. There are two libraries, one on the Royal Hallamshire Hospital site and one on the Northern General Hospital site.
