SUMMARY:NAMDET Wales regional meeting
DESCRIPTION:NAMDET Wales are hosting their first regional meeting of 2024 face to face (with virtual TEAMs link) in the Grange Hospital\, Cwmbran. Bring your lunch for a network meet and greet from 12 til 1\, then the meeting with begin at 1 p.m. til 4 p.m. \nThe venue has now been finalised for the next NAMDET Wales Regional Meeting\, it will be at: The Committee Room\, Grange House on the Llanfrechfa Grange site (adjoining The Grange University Hospital site)\, and virtually\, via Teams. For the geographical location\, go to https://what3words.com/stump.above.zeal. \nThere’ll be free parking around the building on the day. For those travelling on public transport\, there is a regular bus service from Cwmbran railway station (See: 29 – Newport City Centre – Ponthir – The Grange University Hospital – Cwmbran | Newport Bus – for the journey to the hospital site\, it’s a short walk from the railway station to the bus station\, but on returning the bus stops at the railway station itself.) \nFor those attending in-person\, we have the room access between 12pm to 5pm on Wednesday 17th Jan 2024\, so we shall have a 1hr reception period from 12pm for a networking bring-your-own lunch and we shall aim to start the meeting proper and connecting with colleagues attending remotely via Teams at 1pm\, (the link to join is at the bottom of this email). \nIf you are to attend in person\, please would you confirm this to me ASAP. \nThe detailed agenda is to follow but please contact me if you need any other info etc. \n  \nStandard agenda to follow; but of course Conference 2024 (llandudno) will be discussed as well as the regional project around reviewing and updating the UK-wide ‘Infusion Devices Passport‘ project. \nAgenda to include; \n\nDERS and SMART pump project update\nUK wide Medical Gas and cylinder safety training\nConference planning 2024\nInfusion Device Passport\nMDET journal; articles for submission\nMHRA/NHSE /MHRA safety alerts and FSNs\nNAMDET national update\nEvents 2024\n\nemail richard.stubbs@wales.nhs.uk for meeting details
