An opportunity has arisen for a registered healthcare professional to join the national Patient Safety team on a FTC/secondment basis until 01 September 2018.
This is a full time post that will have key roles and responsibilities related to the statutory national patient safety functions to deliver advice and guidance to the NHS on reducing risks to patient safety, including the production of Patient Safety Alerts.
For this key role the clinical insight required is in medical devices and the clinical qualifications and experience required for this post need to be relevant to this setting. There may be an opportunity for this post to be split into 2 x 0.5 WTEposts; with one post covering the technical aspects of medical device management and one post covering the clinical use of medical devices. This decision will be made dependent on applications received.
