Medical Devices Trainer/Training Coordinator

Full Time: NHS Band 6/7 + High Cost Area Supplement (Banding depends on current salary, knowledge, skills and experience of successful candidate)

Do you have an interest in medical devices, education and training? Do you enjoy working in a healthcare environment with opportunities to interact with clinical staff and teach others on the correct and safe use of medical devices? If so, applications are invited for the post of Medical Devices Trainer to support a progressive Clinical Devices Team across Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

 

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced trainer to join the friendly team. Applicants should have experience in the planning and delivery of medical devices training with good understanding of a range of medical device operation and application.

 

They must have experience in usage or maintenance/management of medical devices. They are expected to manage their own workload, be IT literate and possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

Applicants must also have a relevant BSc/Eng degree or equivalent level of knowledge/experience and be State Registered or be a member of a relevant professional body. For further information,
