NHS Improvement (NHSI) have just published a new animated video to support the ‘Nasogastric tube misplacement: continuing risk of death and severe harm’ Patient Safety Alert issued last year. The two minute video is designed to raise awareness amongst staff it must only ever be someone with the right training that confirms the correct placement of a nasogastric tube.
