NAMDET are pleased to share the new members of the NAMDET Management Board. We are delighted to announce the names of the new team.
Tina Worth, from BD Ltd, who brings a wealth of experience and strong leadership skills. Tina has over 35 years of experience within the NHS and Department of Health as a Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, Specialist Nurse Prescriber, NHS Director of Nursing and Department of Health Regional Manager. She moved into market development in the pharmaceutical industry, having undertaken an MBA whilst working at the UK Department of Health
Sheryle Miller, from Northumbria Healthcare with a background in medical device training and patient safety. Sheryle is completing her master’s for patient safety & quality improvement, undertaking a research project around medical devices safety – oxygen cylinders. Areas of interest include tracking of medical devices & wearable devices.
Pippa Morrice, from Manchester Foundation Trust. Pippa’s passion for education extends beyond her professional responsibilities. Pippa is dual-qualified as a Level 5 Learning and Development professional, and back in the NHS (after working with industry partners) working as the Medical Device Training Lead in the Manchester Foundation Trust. She is setting up a medical device training programme to set the training standards for the equipment used in the trust.
Sharon Sutton from Nottingham University Hospital. Sharon has professional registration as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), where she has contributed to the development of best practices for medical device training and lectured student ODP’s in the importance of medical device training and safety.
