Dear NAMDET colleagues,
We are pleased to invite poster submissions for the upcoming NAMDET National Conference 2026, taking place on Thursday, 12th November, at The Catalyst, Newcastle Upon Tyne. This year’s theme is: “Back to Basics. Education Education Education” We’re looking for the two posters that showcase innovation, best practice, training initiatives, patient safety improvements, or impactful changes in medical device management and education.
Suggested Topics Include:
· Innovative solutions in clinical engineering or medical device training
· Digital tools or technologies improving safety and compliance
· Case studies of service improvements or audit outcomes
· Lessons learned from incidents or device-related investigations
· Collaborations between clinical and technical teams
Awards & Recognition
The best two poster abstracts will win a prize of £250 for each authoring team, towards attending the conference to present on their poster project ‘in person’ at the conference. Winning posters will also be featured in NAMDET’s website and MDET Journal

Deadline for abstract submissions is 30th September 2026
Accepted posters must be printed in A1 size and brought to the conference on the day or sent in advance.
